Pranabranjan Ray is an art historian and critic, a social science scholar who has been writing on art for the last 50 years. He has been closely associated with the formation of artists’ groups of Bengal and played a critical role in the evolution of contemporary art of Bengal.

Mrinal Ghosh is a writer, visualiser and an art critic. He has authored several publications in both English and Bengali. His works include Paintings of Paritosh Sen and Sojourn of a Painter: Paintings of Shyamal Dutta Ray.

Soumik Nandy Majumdar graduated from Kala Bhavana, Viswa Bharati University and earned his Masters degree from M.S.University, Baroda. At present he is serving as a senior lecturer in the Department of History, Kala Bhavana, Viswa Bharati University.

Swapan Mullick is a National Award winning film critic and media commentator, currently Director of the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata.

Anirudh Chari is an independent curator and critic who writes for The Statesman and Art India amongst other art journals and periodicals.

Manasij Majumder is a senior art writer. Among his major publications on art are Sakti Burman, Dreamer on the Ark and Imprints off a Sensitive Soul: the Art of Amitabha Bannerjee.

Ruma Dasgupta is a communication professional who switched from advertising to journalism as Kolkata correspondent of Harmony magazine, Mumbai. At present she writes on art and artists, cultural shifts, current trends and travel for Span magazine, The Statesman and The Telegraph.

Nanak Ganguly is an independent art critic and curator based in Kolkata.

Sanjoy Kumar Mallik is a senior lecturer in the Department of Art History, Kala Bhavana, Viswa Bharati University.

R.Siva Kumar is presently Dean of Kala Bhavana , Viswa Bharati University. He has curated several important exhibitions and has written extensively on modern Indian Art. His published works include writings on K.S.Radhakrishnan  and Abanindranath Tagore.

Sukanta Basu has pioneered conservation of paintings in India. He trained in Italy and started a conservation laboratory at the National Museum and NGMA, New Delhi.

Geeta Doctor is a Chennai based writer and critic. She writes extensively on art and literature.

Nitasha Guha is a journalist and a creative writer who has been writing regularly for some of India’s leading English language dailies including The Economic Times, The Times of India, Hindustan Times and The Telegraph. Guha also writes for international magazines.

Reema Gehi is a Bombay-based freelance journalist with a keen interest in theatre and art

Ina Puri is a columnist, curator and an art writer.

Avni Doshi is a freelancer and curator who lives between New York, London and Mumbai.

Sunil Mehra is a Delhi-based journalist and curator who also makes films.

Meera Menezes holds a Masters Degree in German Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. She was the liaison person in India for the Amsterdam based Foundation for Indian Artists (F.I.A).and is currently the Delhi correspondent of Art India.

R.S. Yadav is a freelance journalist who lives and works in New Delhi.

Shawon Akand is an artist and researcher based in Dhaka. At present he is the Director of the Centre for Research on Art and Culture in Dhaka.

Amitabha Bhattacharya has done his BFA and MFA from Kala Bhavana, Santiniketan before going to the Beijing Language and Culture University. He is a practicing painter and a Research Fellow of projects in Asian Studies.  He has made several research trips to China and South East Asia in the last 15 years.

Rachana Rana Bhattacharya studied Visual Communication at the National Institute of Design (NID) in Ahmedabad. She lives and works in New Delhi. Her work has appeared in Swagat Magazine, Discover India, Outlook Traveller, Indian Design & Interiors, and India Today among others.

Abhibrata Chakraborty holds the post of Reader at the Department of Fine Arts Assam University, Silchar.

Swarup Dutta is an alumnus of NIFT and Nottingham Trent University, UK. His formal education was in the field of fashion and textiles but he has been actively involved in the education and handicrafts sector. He is presently working with Indian Institute of Crafts and Design as Dean Academics.

Salima Hashmi is an artist, curator and contemporary art historian. She is currently the Dean, School of Visual Arts at Beaconhouse National University, Lahore. She has written extensively on the arts.

Geeta Alvares Meneses is an academic historian and arts consultant. She writes extensively on contemporary and modern art. She has worked with many major museums and academic institutions, and helped to conceive and curate various exhibitions including ‘The Price of Beauty’ at Leighton House Museum in collaboration with Royal Holloway College, University of London, The British Museum and Christies.

Jayaram Poduval is is an art historian, writer and art curator teaching at the Department of Art History and Aesthetics, Faculty of Fine Arts, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.

Usmita Sahu is a freelance artist and writer. She has done her BFA in Painting from Delhi College of Art and MFA in the same subject from Kala Bhavana. She lives and works in Santiniketan, West Bengal.

Shukla Sawant is Associate Professor at the School of Arts and Aesthetics in Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She is also a practicing artist.

Dr. Paula Sengupta is an artist, academician, curator, and writer. She is currently Assistant Professor in Printmaking at the Faculty of Visual Arts, Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata and Secretary of Khoj Kolkata.

Oindrila Maity Surai is an independent curator and art historian.

Abhijeet Tamhane is an art critic based in Mumbai whose reviews are held in high esteem.
